Role Overview:
- IMPERIAL LOGISTICS, is fast growing freight forwarding company in the International Logistics company, is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented INSURANCE SPECIALIST to optimize our daily logistics operations.
- This role is responsible for ensuring precise documentation with the insurance company, obtaining quick and high-level compensations, securing contracts accurately, and striving for customer satisfaction.
Risk Assessment:
- Identifying and evaluating potential risks related to transportation and storage of goods.
Policy Management:
- Securing and managing insurance policies that cover various aspects of logistics, such as cargo, liability, and property.
Claims Processing:
- Handling and processing insurance claims in the event of loss or damage to goods.
Documentation:
- Ensuring accurate and complete documentation for all insurance-related transactions.
Compliance:
- Ensuring that all insurance practices comply with industry regulations and company policies.
Negotiation:
- Negotiating terms and coverage with insurance providers to ensure optimal protection at the best cost.
Coordination:
- Working with other departments, such as operations and customer service, to integrate insurance solutions into the logistics process.
Customer Liaison:
- Communicating with clients about insurance coverage, claims processes, and policy details.
Reporting:
- Preparing reports on insurance coverage, claims status, and risk management strategies.
Cost Management:
- Managing insurance costs and seeking opportunities for savings without compromising coverage.
- Location: Baku, Azerbaijan.
- Sector: International Logistics of Containers From Country to Country
- Salary: Competitive, determined during the interview process.
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5-day work week.
- Documentation: In accordance with the labor laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
- Salary 1000-1600 AZN
Qualifications and skills:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in freight forwarding and logistics, supply chain, or transportation management, preferably in service provider side.
- Strong knowledge of customs clearance procedures, import/export regulations, and international freight operations.
- Proficiency in English C1 (spoken and written).
- Experience with ERP systems and logistics management software is preferred.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet strict deadlines.
